GRE®: (Graduate Record Examinations®)

A GRE score is typically the only component that all graduate school applicants have in common. It is considered to be a relatively accurate predictor of how you will perform in graduate schools, and is a critical benchmark used to distinguish individuals from their fellow applicants. In fact, at many schools, the GRE is a primary factor that determines not only your acceptance, but also what merit-based grants, fellowships, assistantships, and financial aid you may be eligible to receive. GRE® General Test
The Graduate Record Examinations® (GRE®) General Test measures verbal reasoning, quantitative reasoning, critical thinking and analytical writing skills that have been acquired over a long period of time and that are not related to any specific field of study. The GRE® Subject Tests gauge undergraduate achievement in eight specific fields of study and is often required for admission into a master's degree programme.

GRE Format
The GRE has the following format.
